چکیده

Articles in which nonparametric data envelopment analysis (DEA) is applied to estimate the efficiency based on a network structure usually consider desirable intermediary parts that are first stage’s outputs be used as second inputs. In many real-life situations, parameters include and undesirable outputs. This issue has drawn much attention from DEA researchers recent years. The main motivation for this application weak disposability modeling networks with parts. Undesirable have been investigated study two forms, i.e., final or parameters. both cases, non-cooperative game theory offered evaluating relative of executive units. 2008, real case was explicated 39 airports Spain proposed approaches.

Efficiency Measurement in Two-Stage Network Structures Considering Undesirable Outputs

Since data envelopment analysis (DEA) introduced in 1970s, it has been widely applied to measure the efficiency of a wide variety of production and operation systems. Recently DEA has been extended to examine the efficiency of decision making units (DMUs) with two-stage network structures or processes, where the outputs from the first stage are intermediate measures that make up the inputs of t...

Two-Stage Network DEA with Undesirable Outputs: An Application in the Air Transportation in the Spain

In this paper, two non-linear technologies are proposed based on weak disposability definitions: weak disposability with non-uniform abatement factors and new weak disposability. Both technologies are applied to Spanish airport systems and the existing technologies are modified. To remove the computational complexity of non-linear approaches, the linearization methods are proposed. Then, in ord...

Two-stage DEA models with undesirable input-intermediate-outputs

Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is a non-parametric approach for measuring the relative efficiencies of peer decision making units (DMUs). Many studies have examined DEA efficiencies of two-stage systems, where all the outputs from the first stage are the only inputs to the second stage. Although single-stage DEA models with undesirable input-outputs have been extensively studied, there still l...
